Gail absolutely loves it when the mobile library comes to the home every four weeks.
The library bus is fully accessible and includes a wheelchair lift, making it easy for Gail to get on board and enjoy browsing the books at her own pace. Having regular access to new reading material is something she really looks forward to, and it brings her a lot of happiness.
Visits like these are a wonderful reminder of how small moments can make a big difference, supporting independence, choice, and enjoyment for our residents.

The home was built on the site where Rough Lee ma- ternity hospital had been. The first stone was laid by Lady Clitheroe in November 1982. The building as a home was opened in January 1984.
