A Beautiful Farewell to Duncan
Yesterday, we said goodbye to Duncan, our longest-standing resident, who had been part of the Roughlee Home family for an incredible 40 years.
It was a deeply emotional but beautiful day, filled with love, memories and reflection. We were honoured to give Duncan the wonderful send-off he deserved.
He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and cared for him, and his memory will always remain a special part of Roughlee Home. Rest in peace, Duncan.

41 Years Of Quality Care
The home was built on the site where Rough Lee ma- ternity hospital had been. The first stone was laid by Lady Clitheroe in November 1982. The building as a home was opened in January 1984.

We will treat you to some lunch, introduce you to our staff and residents and you could even join in one of our daily activities
