Kindness Day at Rough Lee Home

We were delighted to welcome a wonderful group of children from Lee Royds Nursery to Rough Lee Home for a very special Kindness Day. The children spent time with our residents, sharing smiles, conversations, and plenty of joyful moments.

They sang a selection of lovely songs for everyone to enjoy and proudly presented the residents with handmade gifts they had created especially for the visit. The warmth, enthusiasm, and innocence of the children truly lit up the home and created a lovely atmosphere throughout the day.

Our residents absolutely loved the visit and spoke about it long after the children had gone. Intergenerational visits like this are incredibly meaningful and bring so much happiness to everyone involved. We always enjoy welcoming young people into the home and seeing the positive impact these moments of connection can have.
