Welcome To The Alex Group

Rough Lee Residential care home is a Registered Charitable Incorporated Organisation for adults with physical disabilities set in its own beautiful grounds in Accrington. There is an abundance of wildlife and plenty of areas for people to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The home itself is all on one level and built purposely to accommodate people in wheelchairs or with a physical disability.

We are registered for 15 beds (age 18-65) with the care quality commission, and also provide a respite facility and day care services for up to 5 adults per day.

We accept direct payments and funding from local councils as well as self-funding. We are regularly inspected by CQC and have received a 5 star rating for the past six years from the RDB Inspectors.

We understand the role of a carer can be very demanding and therefore our day care service is available from 8am -6pm. We also provide weekend evening care from 6pm-11.30pm for those carers who have a function to attend. All meals are included and prepared by our qualified chef. We offer fresh well balanced nutritious meals.

We offer a full daily activity programme, and encourage independence and choice.

If you require a full time placement, respite or day care please give us a call or email us for more information. Alternatively, please browse our website to see why Rough lee is the place where people blossom.
